My First-Person Guide to Surviving Little Nightmares 3 Chapter 1: Necropolis
No warm-up, no mercy—Little Nightmares 3 drops you straight into the Necropolis, and I’m not gonna lie, my palms were sweaty from the first minute. Having tackled this chapter more times than I can count since the 2026 release, I’ve got the lowdown on every puzzle, every doll, and every heart-stopping moment with that colossal Monster Baby. So buckle up, because I’m about to walk you through how I survived—and how you can, too.
Picking Your Poison and Getting the Hang of Things
Right off the bat, you choose Low or Alone. I went with Low because a bow and arrow is just my style, but whichever you pick, the other becomes your AI (or co-op) buddy. The tutorial area eases you in: you’re spat out of a mirror into a dusty room, and soon you’ll need to create a bridge. If you’re Low, one arrow into the button does the trick; if Alone, grab that shoe and let it fly. Simple stuff, but it sets the tone—teamwork or clever aim is everything.
After crossing, I shimmied through a sandy path, climbed a ladder, and ran into Alone’s first special move: smashing through a rock wall with her wrench. Three swings and we were through. Before long we reached a room with a body swinging eerily in the background, and right there in the middle sat Doll Collectible #1. No hunting required—they practically gift it to you. Grab it, then drag a crate with your partner to reveal a crawl space. This is where the real teamwork starts.
A crank-and-shoot puzzle follows: Alone turns a wheel to move a bridge, Low shoots a frayed rope to lock it in place. Then you’ll spot a pressure plate with that spooky eye symbol. Pull a nearby crate onto it to open the exit. It’s like the game is saying, “Think fast, stay sharp.” And honestly? I loved it.
